Well, it has been another Wednesday of poker that has transpired at the Shafer household.

Sixteen men left the comfort of there homes, with the permission of their wives, to come and battle for a $210 1st place prize. Along with that came $130 2nd, $80 3rd, and $50 4th.

          The placements on the night went as follows:

          1st-Shame Grimes

         2nd-Dave Brown a.k.a "Richard Cranium"

         3rd-Howard Thomas

         4th-Chris Covert

         5th-Josh Mason

         

          A wild night in card distribution brought a new high hand of the month to the tables. Also, two others had quads on the night. Ben Clark hit on four Jacks, Dave Brown and Jerett Query "the Kid" also hit quads, but with 2's. Of course, I only had $50 to go "all-in" on, but it did let me live long enough to be put out by Dave Brown's set of 4's.

 

          One more bit of info. This web site is still under construction and will continue to grow as Myself and Andy Shafer piece it together over time. Maybe it will add a little spark to "surfers" and poker players on the net and surrounding areas interested in playing with the West Indiana Poker group.
